Boriam: Namhae's Sacred Cliffside Buddhist Temple
Boriam on Geumsan Mountain in Namhae is one of Korea's three sacred sea prayer sites, perched dramatically on a granite cliff 681 metres above the South Sea, where Buddhist monks have worshipped for over 1,300 years and visitors climb for sunrise and answered prayers.
