IVE Members: Meet Gaeul, Yujin, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz & Leeseo

Won Gaeul (born September 24, 2002) is IVE's oldest member and serves as a co-leader alongside Yujin. She holds positions of Lead Vocalist and Lead Dancer — a dual role that reflects her genuine all-rounder capability. Gaeul is IVE's steady foundation: not the most visually prominent publicly, but consistently acknowledged within the group for her skill and professionalism. She brings a warm, slightly tomboyish energy that contrasts beautifully with IVE's polished group image. Her name literally means 'autumn' in Korean.

Ahn Yujin (born September 1, 2003) is IVE's co-leader and Main Vocalist, and one of its two IZ*ONE alumni. Her time in IZ*ONE (2018–2021) gave her both experience and an established fanbase before IVE even debuted. In IVE, Yujin is the group's most energetic public presence — talkative, naturally funny in variety settings, and overflowing with genuine enthusiasm. Her friendship with Wonyoung, dating back to IZ*ONE, is one of IVE's most beloved relationship dynamics. DIVEs call them 'Wongyujin' and treasure every moment they interact.

Nakamura Rei (born February 3, 2004) is IVE's Japanese member and serves as Vocalist and Rapper. Rei is distinctive within IVE for her thoughtful, introspective personality and a personal fashion sensibility that she has developed into a genuine artistic statement. She connects IVE deeply to the Japanese market through native language content and fanmeet interactions. Her beauty is elegant and understated — the kind that grows on you. Rei is often underrated in casual fan conversations but deeply appreciated by those who follow IVE closely.

Jang Wonyoung (born August 31, 2004) is IVE's Co-Center, Vocalist, and Visual — and one of K-pop's most globally influential figures. She was the youngest finalist and first center on Produce 48 at age 13, which means she has quite literally grown up in the public eye. Her 'princess' aesthetic — refined, aspirational, effortlessly graceful — has become globally recognizable. The 'Wonyoung Effect' is a documented commercial phenomenon: whatever she wears, eats, or uses sells out within hours. In 2023, Time magazine named her one of the 100 Most Influential People in the world.

Park Jiwon (born November 21, 2004), known as Liz, is IVE's Main Vocalist — the member with the strongest raw singing ability in the group. Her live vocals are powerful, emotional, and consistently praised across K-pop communities with the frequent observation that 'Liz carries the live.' Beyond her voice, Liz has earned deep respect for navigating public body image commentary with remarkable maturity and dignity — a situation that sparked broader K-pop community conversations about idol body standards. Her warmth and genuine openness make her one of IVE's most approachable members.

Lee Hyunjung (born February 21, 2007), known as Leeseo, is IVE's youngest member and maknae. She debuted at 14 years old, making her one of K-pop's youngest actively debuting idols. Fans have watched her grow up from an excited teenager to a more confident performer — and that journey of visible maturation is something DIVE fans cherish.
